Ben Hughes Studios is a video/film production company based in Minneapolis, MN, led by filmmaker Ben Hughes.

Ben Hughes is a director, cinematographer, editor, screenwriter, producer, and visual effects artist with a specialty in narrative films, music videos , and commercials. He has extensive experience with a variety of equipment, including cameras such as the RED Scarlet, Sony FS7,  5D Mark III, Canon T2i, and the Panasonic GH4. Born and raised in Minneapolis, Hughes got his first camera at just 12 years old, and began shooting music videos as a job when he was only 16. He was even called a "filmmaking prodigy" on the New York Video School website by Huffington Post Blogger/TV Producer/Journalist Michael Rosenblum

Throughout his life, Hughes has created numerous narrative films, including the short film "Time Fax" which made it to the finalists of the 2011 Cinema Out of Your Backpack Film Festival. He is currently in production of a feature length film called "The Protectors".

On music videos, Hughes has worked with popular artists such as Chief Keef, Riff Raff, Waka Flocka, Twista, Soulja Boy, Auburn, 50 Tyson, Lil Durk, Rocky Diamonds, Allan Kingdom, and more. Music video production is his primary source of income, but his number one passion is making movies.

In the area of commercial/promotional work, Hughes shot 2013 Minneapolis mayoral candidate Jackie Cherryhomes's TV ad, and he worked closely with Interscope Records on Chief Keef's "Finally Rich" album commercial. Recently he has done work for Linnihan Foy Advertising, and in his younger years, Hughes was the go-to videographer, and editor for smaller companies such as Sportsignings and Balvanz Enterprises.

On top of all that, Hughes has done event videography for Mindless Behavior and Kirko Bangz. He also practices photography, composes and produces music, and can engineer/mix music at a professional level. However, photography and music are only hobbies for Hughes, as most of his work hours are spent shooting and editing music videos, which leaves little time for much else.

Ben Hughes has had his work displayed on various media outlets such as MTV, WorldstarHipHop, VEVO, and more. With over 45 Million views on his YouTube channel, Ben Hughes is currently making a name for himself across the globe, and is actively pursuing his dreams to become the best filmmaker he can be.

If you're looking for a high quality film, commercial, or music video, to take your business, or music career to the next level, or if you're simply looking for some entertainment, then look no further. Ben Hughes Studios will satisfy all your film and video needs.
